  1. 01

Deal six columns and a reserve

Deal six face-up cards into each of six columns. Lay the remaining sixteen cards separately in the reserve. Leave space for four foundations.

  2. 02

Move a card or descending sequence

An exposed single can join an end card one rank higher. A sequence can travel together if every card in it is one rank lower than the card above it. Suits can be mixed.

  3. 03

    Bring every card home

Win when all four foundations are complete. The tableau and reserve are empty at that point. Try undoing a move when a legal join closes off a useful card.

01
DEAL

Deal six columns and a reserve

Deal six face-up cards into each of six columns. Lay the remaining sixteen cards separately in the reserve. Leave space for four foundations.

02
BUILD

Move a card or descending sequence

An exposed single can join an end card one rank higher. A sequence can travel together if every card in it is one rank lower than the card above it. Suits can be mixed.

03
RESERVE

Pick any one reserve card

All sixteen reserve cards are individually available from the start. Send one to a legal column or foundation. When you move a reserve card, the reserve gets smaller.

04
FOUNDATIONS

Start with aces and follow suit

A foundation starts with an ace and builds upwards to its king. Each move home takes one exposed column card or one reserve card. An empty column can accept any legal single or descending sequence.

05
FINISH

Bring every card home

Win when all four foundations are complete. The tableau and reserve are empty at that point. Try undoing a move when a legal join closes off a useful card.

06
PRACTISE

Use gaps to reveal the next card

An open column gives a reserve card or a descending run somewhere to go. Consider which exposed end you want to uncover before using the gap.
